These terms govern your use of ShelfWise. By using the app, you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy.

Using the app

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use ShelfWise on devices you own or control, for your own household and personal use, in line with these terms and the App Store terms.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity that happens under it. Invite household members only if you are authorized to share that household's data with them.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the app: no illegal use, no attempts to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service, and no uploading of content you do not have the right to use.

AI-generated content

Features like receipt scanning, fridge analysis, meal insights, and recipe suggestions use AI and can be wrong or incomplete. They are provided for convenience and are not professional, nutritional, medical, or financial advice. Always check important details, including allergens and prices, yourself.

Subscriptions

Premium AI is offered as an auto-renewable subscription purchased through Apple's In-App Purchase system. The current price and billing period are shown before you confirm purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID, and the subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID subscription settings. Use Restore Purchases in Settings if you reinstall the app or move to a new device.

Your content

You keep ownership of the content you add. You grant us the permission needed to store, process, and display that content to operate the app's features for you and your household.

Service availability

We work to keep ShelfWise running, but the app is provided "as is" and may have interruptions, changes, or discontinued features. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ShelfWise and its developer are not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the app, and the app is provided without warranties of any kind.

Termination

You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are violated or where required for security or legal reasons.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms over time. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. The date above shows when they last changed.
